Decades of vial manufacturing experience, accumulated know-how, and a program of constant improvement, have made Kapro's vials the international market standard.

  • Kapro's box section levels and cast aluminum levels incorporate vials machined from blocks of solid acrylic. Kapro's manufacturing process is renowned for producing the industry's toughest, most precise, and most readable solid acrylic vials. In order to minimize parallax error, the reading lines are marked on the inside of the barrel. Kapro's solid acrylic shockproof vials are manufactured from superior, high grade optical acrylic. The internal barrel of the vial is machined slowly, in a non-vibrating process, to ensure minimal distortion to the arc movement of the bubble. The arc radius and vial sensitivity are maintained consistently from one end of the vial to the other.

  • Kapro's I-beam levels and toolbox levels are manufactured using injection-molded cylindrical vials. Generally, they have the reading lines marked on the outside of the vial. The vials achieve their internal barrel shape in the molding process, and maintain that shape through the cooling stage with minimal change. Our cylindrical vials are produced and tested for minimal roll error, and are pressure tested to ensure their long term survival at work. Because of our meticulously controlled manufacturing processes, the accuracy specifications of all of our spirit levels with these vials have become the market standard.


We offer a lifetime warranty against leakage or breakage of our solid acrylic vials.
Kapro's unique treatment processes ensure that the vials will not leak, fog, or break. The bubble movement in our vials is not affected by static electricity. And the expansion coefficient of our vial liquid enables us to enlarge the bubble size, while retaining a tight tolerance through the full range of working temperatures. The UV resistance of the pigment in Kapro vials is the best in the industry, and our vials better withstand the fading effects of sunlight. We maintain an ongoing R&D program to keep our vials the industry's best.
